CNI IT Council Holds ICT Strategy Roundtable with National Planning Commission
The CNI IT Council successfully organized an ICT Strategy Roundtable with Hon’ble Prof. Dr. Sudan Jha, Member of the National Planning Commission, on 10 June 2026 at the CNI Secretariat. The interaction provided a valuable platform for the ICT industry to engage directly with the National Planning Commission and discuss the sector’s current challenges, opportunities, and future strategic priorities.
Representatives from diverse ICT sub-sectors, including data centers, BPO services, IT exports, e-commerce, fintech, hardware, and internet service providers (ISPs), actively shared their concerns and recommendations. Hon’ble Prof. Dr. Jha positively received the suggestions and acknowledged the importance of incorporating private sector perspectives in shaping policies and strategies to strengthen Nepal’s digital economy and ICT ecosystem.
