Green Nano Science and Wellness: Exploring Nepal-India Cooperation

A discussion program on “Green Nano Science and Wellness: Exploring Nepal-India Cooperation” was held on 12 June at CNI. The event was jointly hosted by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) Tourism Committee and the Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement (NIICE).

The discussion featured Dr. Deepa Prakash, Managing Director of Kadamba Intrac Pvt. Ltd., India, who shared insights into the growing role of green nanotechnology in wellness, healthcare, nutrition, and sustainable development. Drawing on Kadamba’s extensive experience in integrating Ayurveda with advanced green nanoscience, Dr. Prakash highlighted emerging opportunities for innovation and cross-border collaboration.

During the session, Dr. Prakash expressed her interest in exploring opportunities to establish a wellness center in Kathmandu and sought potential local partners for collaboration and investment. Participants from the business, tourism, healthcare, and wellness sectors engaged in a productive exchange of ideas on strengthening Nepal-India cooperation and promoting Nepal as a destination for wellness tourism and innovation.

The program underscored the potential for collaborative initiatives that can contribute to sustainable economic growth, knowledge exchange, and investment in the wellness sector.
