CNI Young Entrepreneurs Forum (CNIYEF) Hosts High-Level CEO’s Forum on Nepal’s Automotive Industry
The CNI Young Entrepreneurs Forum (CNIYEF), the youth wing of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), successfully organized a high-level discussion on "CEO's Forum: Beyond the Engine: The Story of Nepal's Automotive Industry" at Kathmandu.
The discussion brought together a diverse group of young business leaders, policy experts, and industry stakeholders to dissect the structural challenges and growth potential of the Nepali economy. The session featured an elite panel of veteran experts who have shaped Nepal’s corporate and industrial frameworks.
The panelists included Mr. Karan Chaudhary, Managing Director of CG Holdings (representing Maruti), Ms. Ritu Singh Vaidya, Managing Director of VOITH (representing Toyota), and Mr. Sahil Shrestha, CEO of Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd. (representing BYD). The discussion was moderated by Mr. Saket Sanghai, Director of Triveni Group.
Opening the event, Ms. Shiny Khetan, Networks and Communications Chair of CNIYEF, introduced the event's vision, setting the stage for an honest industry assessment. This was followed by a formal introduction of the distinguished panelists and the moderator before diving into the core panel discussion.
The discourse delved into the intricacies of automotive trade dynamics, legal hurdles in industrial growth, and the shifting landscape of Nepal’s commerce. The event also featured an interactive Q&A session, allowing members from various sectors including manufacturing, tech, and services to engage directly with the panelists on overriding sector issues, policy stability, and the overall investment climate.
Concluding the formal session the moderator, Mr. Saket Sanghai, delivered the Vote of Thanks and closing remarks, acknowledging the panelists' invaluable contributions.
